Valentin Imperial Maya Brides?

Recommended Posts

Usrerd-I also had to email a photocopy of the credit card and ID. I believe you can also fax the photocopy, if you're more comfortable with that. I just reserved my date on Friday, and they sent me a confirmation and photocopy of the actual receipt today.

I was a little weirded out by the photocopies of cards too, but I'm not sure there's any other way to get around it. It seems to be working fine for me though! Good luck!

Hey girls, just checking in! I miss the Valentin so much!! At least once a day DH and I talk about how we wish we were there again. They were actually just advertising 7 nights including air for super cheap from St. Louis and if we didn't have work we would be on a plane!!

I hope all is going well. I am going to post some professional photos in the Claudia Rodriguez thread.

WOW is pretty much all I have to say about the Valentin we loved it and had an amazing time, if we did not have so many kids at our wedding this would have been the prefect place. Checkin was supper easy we got there at 12 and our room was not ready so we changed and hit the pool right away we had great service all the staff members say hola and have a nice day. We had a couple of drinks at the pool let me tell ya they are not watered down shots.gif Around 4 we went up to checkin and they upgraded us to a room on the beach with a huge hot tub, however we had a 1st floor so you could not see the ocean but we did not care we hardly spent time in the room. The food and service was great. My fav places were the Japanese, Indonesian and French. The night life was not that great however we did meet a lot of new friends from all over and we had a blast we danced in the plaza and then went to the sports bar. My really only complaint about the resort was at night they shut off the lights in some of the bathrooms then once the plaza closes the shut off pretty much all the lights in the plaza, hallways and all the bathrooms while the sports bar is still open. The walk to the bathrooms and back to our room was pretty creepy so we always went together. One of our favorite parts about the resort was the guests we made so many new friends I have traveled a lot but I have to say this place everyone was down to earth which was great.

The chapel I thought was really nice DH and I thought it was a perfect location for a wedding.

If anyone has any questions just let me know. Good Luck Planning!

Super easy we hired Cancun Transfer for $82 for a private car round trip they were there waiting for us when we got there and picked us up right on time at the resort to bring us back. It took about 25 - 30 minutes to there to and from. I highly recommend them!

So does anyone know if the terrace is extra for the reception dinner? I was choosing this place because it looked like such a nice place for a reception. I was hoping it did not cost more, we are on a tight budget. Shooting for Jan 2010 wedding and just started planning. I have my hands full!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
