Valentin Imperial Maya Brides?

Recommended Posts

NikkiT,

I ordered the custom maracas from Mishka Designs. I found out about her on BDW....here's her user profile. You can find the links to her blog and website at the bottom of the page. She's in Puerto Vallarta too so it's one less thing you'll have to bring in a suitcase!

By the way, I love your tagline - * A Wedding * A Party * A Vacation *

I actually did get a quote from mishka- thought it was alittle pricey but it is quality work. Might have to weigh the pros and cons. My FI actually came up with our tagline! It's going to be in our invites, welcome letters and OOT bags. He did a good job! :)

ahollo,

Here's the link for Factory 21's shop:

The steins aren't on there at the moment (I guess it's because I bought the listing) but they'll probably put it back up soon. I got an email today that said they shipped them already! I just ordered them last week. I'll be sure to post pics of the final product when they arrive!

Hi Ladies!

Due to an unexpected jump in price from my original resort choice I've been looking around and Valentin Imperial is looking pretty good (March 10, 2012). I'm planning on doing a gazebo ceremony and can't seem to find any pictures of that area set up for a wedding - does anyone know where I can find that?

Also, what areas are offered for the reception? I'm bringing my own photographers (they will be guests for 3 nights as well) - so I'm looking for fantastic scenery.

Thanks!

Great questions! I'm also planning on having the ceremony in the gazebo, but I haven't seen any pics of it set up for that.

As for the reception - I think you can use any of the restaurants.

The location of the reception depends on the amount of people at your wedding.  For small weddings, the lobster pot is usually what is used.  Medium- Mexican resteraunt (pretty terrace). Large (over 50)- fountain area.

i'm sure if you didn't like these locations you could probably use any of the resteraunts, but they're definately good options.

We crashed a party in the fountain area last year (funny story).  And it was AWESOME! huge area for dancing and seperate area for food/drinks etc.  My goal is to have at least 50 people so we can use this.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
