The NEW Azul Fives...Anyone else considering this resort??

Recommended Posts

So my FI and I STILL have not picked a resort but we have narrowed down our options, and one of them is the new ai resort in Playa Del Carmen called Azul Fives. My TA told me abou this resort today..so I am excited. The resort is said to be opening on Dec 1, 08.The neat thing about Azul Fives is that they offer both AI and EP!!

Just curious if there are any other brides to be out there that are considering this resorthuh.gifhuh.gif I am a little nervous about it being new, but I'm guessing that they should have major issues figured out 10 months out when we plan to get married in Oct 09. She assured me that they will go above and beyond for weddings at their location because they are a karisma owned resort. Is anyone else considering Azul Fiveshuh.gif??

Check out some of these pics!! (obviously most of these are computerized model pictures of what things will look like but you get the idea)

The answer is YES after reading your post and researching it online!

It is gorgeous. I love how modern it is and the roof decks of the presidential suites would be perfect for throwing a pre wedding bash!

THANK YOU THANK YOU for making me look at this one.

We go in September so I am going to see if we can do a site visit. We are already going to Azul Sensatori which also looks nice.

Do you know how they differ in price?

Thank you again!

Wow...those pictures look amazing. It is so modern and new. How beautiful. I hear a lot of vendors are boycotting Karisma resorts because they charge an "outside vendor fee" for people like photographers and DJ's. Does anyone know anything about this??

The Azul Fives is opening Dec.1st, so they are runnign an amazing promotion to get people to stay at their resort. We are planning on getting married in October '09 and our TA quoted us $1000 pp for 7 days..def a price that people will never see again!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
