just a weight vent again!

I feel like I have been trying so hard over the last 2 weeks with working out and dieting. Aunt flow came to visit early this week and it seems that i have gained like 5 of my pounds back! Is it just me that this happens to? I can't even fit in my jeans without seeing a muffin top! I guess it's due to bloating from all of the water I've been drinking plus the side effects from aunt flow's visit. Is this a serious condition? Can the Doctor treat it? Can I do something to prevent this from happening? Because it's very frustrating!

This is normal. I wouldn't worry about it. Once your period is gone, the weight will be gone as well. Also, try not to eat salty foods when you have your period b/c that is what makes you bloat. Don't worry once it is all gone you will feel skinny again. smile03.gif

It normal. I always feel ginormous during Flow's visit. Just don't give up. The working out is helping - it's just going to take about 4 more weeks to really see results. It's frustrating, but worth it in the long run.

I agree with Kate, I saw results right away but then the last three weeks have been really bad and frustrating, but I have to stick with it-it will all be worth it in the end.

Keep up the good work and it will begin to pay off.

I agree with the others, the past few weeks have been frustrating, but the last few days have been pretty good, so I'm hoping it will get me back on track, and yes when flow visits I feel like I've gained 10 pounds and my weight loss efforts are pointless!

I am not doing WW but as trying to lose weight aswell. Just be patient I know its hard but honeslty one day you will try on your jeans and they will be falling off. Thats how it was for me when I lost weight before. It just kind of happened all of a sudden.

Keep up the hard work it will pay off!

I know how you feel! It's so hard to be working so hard and not feel like you're seeing any results! Hang in there - all your good behavior will catch up with you next week after your TOM is over and you'll feel fantastic!

 

And as someone mentioned above to try and stave off bloating you should cut out very salty foods and believe it or not actually increase your water consumption to reduce bloating... hang in there!
