i personally like the tradition of beign away from one another. to me not sleepign beside my FI makes me realize how much i love/miss him so to be apart the night before i think is the best thing. its your final night apart before you spend the rest of your lives wakign up next to one another.
if you want to skip the traditional thing.....i say sleep over and do breakfast but then seperate. the MOH should help the bride get ready and it should be a surprise when the grrom sees the bride for the first time.

Wedding idea advice....

Well, I just spoke to her and she doesn't want to give in to either - guess I have no choice but to go with the traditional :/

lol, guess that's what you get for joining a mostly girl forum!
i wanted to follow tradition too. dh stayed w/ his best man the night before, and my sister stayed w/ me. my mom and sis came up for a room-service breakfast, and then my bms met me at the salon. i think if it was just the two of us and no guests, it would have been different...
smooth j, where are you from in nj?
