you can also fly someone in. or pay the $500 fee to bring in your own photographer. i think that is there current policy. If photography is very important to you, you might want to look outside of EDR.

I don't know about those companies in particular, but most of the hotel photographer companies are not impressive. The ones at my hotel may not have even been photographers. I think they were just the staff member that was incharge of holding the camera for the day. They had pictures displayed in the lobby.

Yes, I live here and have for 7 years. It really doesn´t take much money at all the most expensive part is flying here. My rent is like 180usd a month, my water is 5usd a month, and my electric is about 30usd a month and paid every two months. Pretty cheap. You just can´t live in the tourist areas or go to McDonalds and Outback Steak house as the pricing is way off the charts if you live here. If you need any further info for things in the area let me know I have worked in tons of hotels and a few agencies so I pretty much know the low down on most things. If I don´t then I know somebody who does. Let me know.smile29.gif

I know the cost of living isnt bad at all as long as you can find work. Trouble is I have a 21 year old with a year left in College and a 16 year old heading that direction. Tough to pick up and move there until those situations stabilize. Perhaps one day.... thanks for the offer and maybe one day I will look you up and take you up on it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
