anyone over 20 you have to pay. The Silver menu is $55 per person adn the gold is $65-we are having 30-40 people on the beach as well.
Read the wedding guide because it talks about this

So Cendcar, they're willing to do a phone meeting. I was thinking of doing this but since they are soo unreliable I figured they wouldn't even be in their office at the time we set up.
Should I just email them and ask what time is most convenient for me to call them?

        Wow, lots of stuff

        DEPOSITS
We've never had to put them down before, I think this is something new. If you weren't asked for one, I wouldn't worry about it, just make sure it's clear that your date is confirmed.

        FLOWERS
I used artificial flowers, I talk about it in my review. If you want more info about flowers go to the general wedding section as lot of other brides do this too.

        MEALS
You ALWAYS have to pay when you are a group more than 20 people. The ONLY EXCEPTION is the BUFFET restaurant. But if you want a buffet at one of the a-la-carte restaurants, or on the beach or by the pool, you have to pay. There are 3 different menu options, the prices are 20/55/65$. The prices are the same for buffet, it just depends on the menu you choose. Please read the info on page 1, that's what it's there for becuase we get teh same questions repeated a lot. But if you still don't understand after reading it, let us know what you don't understand and we'll clarify.

        PHONING THE COORDINATORS
I don't know if you will be successful in setting up a phone "meeting". They are really busy and might have trouble adhering to a meeting time. But you can try doing this, cendcar said it worked for her. Otherwise just phone them without an appointment, and if they aren't there I personally would not bother leaving a message, just keep trying till you get one of them (sometimes I had to try like 5 times!) and then ask your questions. This is especially effective for confirmation date & time of ceremony

          Deposit
I asked repeatedly and was always told that I did not need to give them any money until my meeting before the wedding. So, I agree with Sunbride. If you have not been asked for it, don't worry about it.

          Customs question
Those of you who brought stuff for your OOT bags, did customs give you a hard time and want to charge you taxes on it?

I have seen this question asked before in either the general forum or mayan riviera forum. I specifically remember one girl saying she forged receipts (like using a receipt book at the dollar store!) and that it worked adn she was glad she did because they asked her for them and this way she was able to mark the value as being a lot less.

Yup, I have have 3 phone meeting with them. I set them up for Saturday, 10am my time (pacific) and just had them call me. They (sandra before, then landy most recently) did call a little late but they called.

Just make sure that you get the time differences right.

              Example:

Landy, to confirm you will call me on Saturday, 10/11/08 . This phone call will be at 10:00 am for me and 12:00 pm for you.

Hey..I'm sure there is info somewhere on this thread regarding this, but it is 50 pages long...and well...I'm exhausted. I'm working on my FI to finally lock down his deep sea fishing activities, but would like to provide him with a list of people to contact..possibly prices...so that he has NO CHOICE but to DO IT! Can someone point me in the right direction...or page??

Thanks to all for the info on the deposit. I too received confirmation through email, but nothing ever was mentioned about the deposit.

I sent another email to Lizet today for more clarification and I am going to keep on her until I hear back from her.

My FI told me the same thing until they ask, they are not getting a dime! Glad he finally said something!

My Aunt offered to call down there for me on Saturday and try and get all my questions answered cause she is sick of me stressing all the time.

But I got a phone call today that my BM dress is in, so my sister and I are going to go pick them up on Saturday!

                      Hi Ladies,

Has anyone done their reception on the beach If so, how does the music and dancing work? Can we play music on the beach during the dinner and after? Ideally, we would also like to have the first dance there too.

                      Please help!!!
