Hey Denise - I think I saw your wedding =) And I'm pretty sure I met your mom in the salon day of (if she was running late, it was her). I was married the day after you. We're you partying with your girls on stage after your wedding at the club?

To tulum it's a $10 ride US or Pesos (so better deal to pay with pesos) and to playa it's about $45 USD or Pesos. We actually took a bus from the entrance to the resort, they are like a van that seats about $12 ppl and you can get on it with some locals and tourists but it only cost us $5/couple each way. Much cheaper and totally safe

That's so funny - you looked beautiful. Your mom actually warned me that you weren't 100% thrilled by the way they did your makeup, so we actually taught Trinidad how to do it when it was time for mine the next day. My MOH and I are both cosmetology teachers =) You looked beautiful - loved your dress =) You probably saw us too! bunny_4.gif

We did not do the buffet. I absolutely loved the food too. We chose to go with the silver menu to save some money, and I was not disappointed at all. Our main course was the fish steak which ended up being Mahi Mahi, and everyone raved about it. We had two children too and their meal was perfect for them. They first got a huge plate of fresh fruit which they loved, then they had chicken nuggets with fries.

The dance without the floor on the beach was fun. Everyone loved dancing in the sand.

Good luck with everything Blkatz! and everyone else.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
