Congratulations, So glad to hear everything worked out despite it all being against you! You are a role model to us all with your positive energy and determination to allow nothing to affect your wonderful day, when I find myself stressing over the little things that really dont matter I'll remember to follow your example...

Cant wait for the review.

OH I'm so happy to hear we have ladies working on reviews. I know we have had 5-6 brides return recently and only one review so I'm happy to hear more are being worked on.

Hi Everyone! Thank you so so much for this thread!! Dave and I are about 99.9% sure we will be planning a wedding at Dreams Tulum, so far it is the absolute favorite for us. We had a few questions to those who have planned or are currently planning wedding here. If you are able to help, it would be SUCH a great service to us. Feel free to private message me or leave answers here, i'll check back regularly :)

1. We are in desperate search of a rabbi. Landy said there isn't one at Dreams or near by. Any Jewish brides or grooms that can help with this? Our rabbi won't travel with us :/

2. How do you go about decorations? Are there options or are you supposed to bring with you what you want and they decorate it for you?

3. How do you chose WHICH package to purchase (for the down payment, etc) when you aren't sure how many guests will attend??

4. I do not plan on renting out the ballroom and a private dj for the night - isn't there a "night club" at the resort? Have wedding parties just taken place there, utilizing the resort's already provided entertainment?? Or is the night club not really as great as they make it seem??

5. Would ya'll recommend opting for the private dinner/cocktail hour on the beach after the ceremony or just going to one of the included restaurants with the wedding guests? Is this even an option depending on number of guests? What are you all doing?

I think that's it for now :) Any and all answers are welcome, i'd LOVE to know what everyone is doing. And if this isn't the right place to post these questions, i'm so sorry - i'm definitely new to all this :)

Thanks!!

Galina

hey Galina-
We are Jewish and we decided just to get married in the US before we left. There is a cantor on the forum-I think her name is Cantor Debbie and she travels.
We were going to do the seaside grille for dinner for our guests or the beach.
As far as the packages go, you can change them-I was supposed to have the Ultimate, then met with Natalia and decided on the other and then in the end went with the free option. It is all arranged when you get there

    • Hello all!! I'm planning to get married next week. I'm working in an MNC and I'm gonna marry my colleague who is in my company. It's been ten months since we have started our relationship. He used to support in all my difficulties and used to help me in my work. Always he used to tell me about my smile. He says that I have a very good smile and he loves it. Recently I lost my front tooth after an accident and it resulted in a bad look for me. He told me that I lost my beautiful smile. I was totally disappointed and thought of finding a solution. I heard about dental dentures and took an appointment at a clinic in Scarborough. Will dentures affect my speech? What was your experience of getting dentures?
    • Go for the third one. It is gorgeous and you will look stunning in that. I'm sure you will be noticed by other people. Go for it.
    • I would suggest the long one. You will look stunning in that. It is simple and elegant.
    • Both the gown are awesome and I'm sure you will look gorgeous in both. But I would suggest the first one. Go for it and Congratulations for your marriage.
    • Hello everyone,  I am still engaged, still not planning the big day, because we haven't chosen a date + we have some family stiff to do so I hope that this forum will help me a lot before the real craziness during the wedding planning period. Happy to be here
