Hey Jessica!

We are arriving on June 17th and plan to have around 20 guests. My planning is going well, I have read a lot through the forums, which has been a huge help since communicating with the coordinators is not the best! I am so glad that everything worked out in your situation and it sounds like we will get to meet! We will have to swap tidbits with each other!

I can't wait! Are you doing an outdoor affair? I hope to get a beachside reception. Happy planning!

We don't HAVE TO post a review, but it is helpful to all the future brides. I don't think any girls from the forum got married between those dates which is probably why no reviews have been posted. It could also be that someone hasn't gotten a chance to write one yet.

When I was looking for reviews I went to the wedding review thread and just looked for Dreams Tulum brides...there are a ton of them!

Hi girls,

Quick question. I am bringing chair sashes, table runners and candles for the reception, and Aurora just sent me an email saying it would cost $2/person for them to set this up for us. Has this been the case with past brides too? We have 26 guests so I realize this isn't a ton of money, but I just hadn't heard about this before.

for all the ladies out there looking for a good iPod dock check out the Kicker i501 we'll be looking at it this weekend (and I plan to turn it up HIGH) but everything I've read says ths is better than the Bose docks....not suprising since Kicker make car audio, mostly sub woofers...think of that guy with the major bass who you FEEL as much as hear...woot2.gifwoot2.gif

When I asked Aurora she actually quoted me $3/person to set up the table and all I had asked her to do was put on a table runner. We were planning on setting up the rest (i.e. centerpeices and place tags). She also quoted us $150 for the set up of paper lanters 10-20.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
