Thanks!

Not a silly question.... easy answer though. During your reception, where ever you decide to have it, there will be plenty of waiters ready to serve you at any time. They will be the bar runners - your guests simply order.smile72.gif

ADVICE TO FUTURE BRIDES: DO NOT USE RESORT VIDEOGRAPHER or PHOTOGRAPHER - we used an outside vendor for our photog and he was amazing. We used to resort photog for our Welcome dinner pics, because we did buy Ultimate Wedding Package and figured what the hell. They are ok, but not great.
Hey gals, I just got bak on Friday and it was amazing. I am mega-stressed now that I hear our video might be sub-par. The videographer was late, he caught the ceremony and after the ceremony, but not before. I really hope our vows are audible - - do you have the videographer's email address? We are supposed to get the DVD in the mail, but if I can make a few adjustments BEFORE he sends it, that would be good. We used Filamone (sp?) for our trash-the-dress the day after, he is the resort photog and he was great. Some cheesy picts, but for the most part he provided us with a lot of great shots (138 to be precise).

Wow! Everyone is getting back! I can not wait to read everyone's reviews. I leave in one week and I am getting a little nervous.

Did you arrange with Filamone the TTD before you left? I really want to do this I just dont feel like paying extra $$$. We got the Ultimate package and we are using an outside vendor for both pictures and video.

The travel agent said people may not be happy with such a small resort and there may not be much to do at night. I was so excited about my choice but she kind of has me bummed out.
Have you read some of the numerous reviews posted on this site? They are very positive, I'm sure it will help you feel comfortable about your choice, everyone always has a wonderful time at Dreams Tulum.

Eeeek Beth! It's finally here! We leave in less than 2 weeks. I cannot wait!

I promise to write a long review when I get back. This forum helped me immensely and I really want to give back as much as I can. We're off to Europe for our honeymoon for the rest of May but I'll be sure to touch base in early June.

Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of pictures of weddings that have been taken in the chapel, tried searching but it just brings up all the posts with the word "chapel" in them.

According to the brides info list on page one people do get married in there but every photo I've seen has been taken on the beach, just trying to get a feel for the quality of light in the chapel cos it looks fab on the dreamsresort site but im a little worried that no-one seems to post actual wedding pics from the chapel...or maybe im just not looking hard enough! x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
