Also, I need an opinon on the colors I am thinking of using which are sky blue and espresso. I really love the combination but my FH thinks the espresso may be too dark for a beach wedding. Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks!
Flowers on the arbor/gazebo area always included no matter which package you choose.

I personally think brown and blue will look great. I agree that brown alone would be a little dark for a DW, but paired up with a beautiful blue it will look fabulous!

Finally an answer to that question! Too bad it was too late for Neen, hopefully she figures something out. I'm adding this info to the update list for page 1

Hi Ladies,

I was in touch with the spa and the spa concierge. Because Jen has booked over 18 spa appointments (YIKES) they increased the discount from 15% to 20%. So for most of us, it will remain 15%.

But I have confirmed, if the brides pay for their guests hair appointments (i.e. bridesmaid hair, mothers, etc) they will transfer the 15% savings to these appointments as well.

Hope this provides some clarity

The 2009 price for a Bonfire is $60.00.

If you ourchase a wedding package - Jennifer Barnett- the Spa Concierge will bump um your discount to 20 % off and let anyone of your guests have the same discount as long as you email her before you arrive.

Yeah Jennifer from the spa just sent me an "nice" email telling me that my discount wasn't for other brides. I purchased 6 couples massages and 2 seaweed body wraps for my guests. I was going to do an excursion for everyone but decided not to take them off the resort - some of them are only staying a few days. So I bouth the spa services instead. Sorry- but good that they will extend the 15 %

I absolutely love this thread!! It has been so helpful reading all of your posts. I haven't had many questions so far that I haven't found answers to already, until now.

I am getting married at DT on April 15 2009 and initially I had been in very brief and short email contact with Lizet. Nobody has since then contacted me. Will they get ahold of me soon to start making more detailed arrangements? I know Lizet said it would be about 2-3 months prior, but now I'm worried since she's gone.

Has everyone had good luck with Anabel and Natalia? Lizet took a long time to get ahold of.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
