Can anyone tell me what is best relaxation or dolphin pool for reception Thanx

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Most Definately the rectangular pool.  It is much more private.  The Dolphin pool is right by where people walk by.  The rectangular pool is out of the way.

I just got married at April 10th at Dreams Tulum and did the legal ceremony so if anyone has questions, please feel free to send me a private message.  I have photos and can help to answer any questions you may have.

My wedding is July 18th. I am eagerly awaiting the package information so that I can start making decisions on flowers and centerpieces and what not. I was wondering if anyone brought with them table runners and/or centerpiece decorations and whether this ended up being a hassle. I am also wondering how the photographer at the resort is. I haven't booked anyone else so I am hoping they are decent. I have read mixed reviews.

On an unrelated note I was wondering if any of you ladies made welcome bags for your guests and if so what kind of things did you bring to put in them. I want to make cute welcome bags with useful things but at the same time I am afraid I am going to be overloading my luggage. Any advice is welcomed.

Another question I had is whether anyone knows of something fun I could do with the ladies attending the wedding sort of like a "bachelorette day". My fiancé is taking men deep sea fishing for his bachelor day and I would like to do something special with the ladies. I didn't know if there was something fun locally to do for the day or even is the resort offers some sort of spa day package or something. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks! ;)

Hi! Can anyone tell me what the VIDEOGRAPHY by the resort includes exactly? And does anyone have an example?

Is it just a 30-minute video of the ceremony or do they also include a shorter 5-minute "highlights" type of video? If I choose not to use the resort photographer can I get extra videography? What options are there to add on and how much does it cost?

THANKS!!!!

does anyone have a copy of what they mail out to you the 2 months before ? I am getting married 11/1/14 and have over 100 people coming so far.  If you coul email me at mariekane1977@@gmail.com I would really appreciate it.

Also, for any other brides does Dreams do the menu for the tables or is that something I would do and bring with me ? Also, do they set up a table for people to see where they are seated ?

thanks

Hi Ladybugbt!

Your date is coming up so close! You must be super excited and anxious!! So many good things to come!

I still have 7 months more to go..TO answer a few of your questions (although i realize I might be a bit too late!) - i am planning on bringing my own bows for the chairs (great deals on ebay), table runners (i should only have about 4-5 tables), some decorations (i got some beautiful large seashells i am planning on "scattering" around the centerpiece), and welcome bags. For welcome bags i will be getting mostly medicine related items (pepto, tylenol, first aid kit, sanitizer), the detailed plan for the week (dinner for ladies/men the night before, detailed schedule of the big day, etc), a sudoku pack, and a crossword that i will make up myself (titled "How well do you know the bride and groom?")

I would love to hear about all of your decisions about the decorations that you are bringing. Have you made your welcome bags yet? Also, would you pleeeassseee send me a copy of the package? (So i can get a headstart on the flowers, etc - natgurova@yahoo.com). Also, did you figure out what to do with your ladies the day before? And how big of a party will you have, and the location of your reception? How far in advance did you book the trip, and was it through AppleVacations?

I know i just bombarded you with questions, but i am at 7 months prior mark, and getting a bit nervous. Any bit of insight will help! Thank you!!! And i hope your day will turn out wonderful!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
