Hola! Just wanted to check in to let you all know you have absolutely nothing to worry about and could even just stop planning now! :) Our wedding last Friday was amazing there were a few hiccups with timing but it was perfect and we loved every minute of it. Dreams does an excellent job and Anabel was so accommodating.  I haven't seen our video but I'm so happy we added additional video for the reception to capture more of the day to help us remember!

We're still on our honeymoon at The Royal right now but sadly we have to go back home to reality today.  Good luck to everyone who's weddings are coming up soon! I'll write a review for all of you once we get back home and settled down a bit.

Yeah I went back and forth about using the spa for hair and makeup and in the end said oh what the hell, afterall it's included I didn't really "need" to spend extra money on it....and they did a fabulous job Rosalie did my hair and she's fantastic I just gave her pictures of what I was looking for and it was awesome.  It even held up and lasted for my TTD session the next morning.  My make-up also held up I just added some mascara and bronzer in the morning before the TTD and was set to go. The mothers and my girls also had their hair done and everyone looked perfect.  I flew in my own photographer but we used the resort photographer during cocktail hour and he got some good shots.

here's a few pics from a friend's camera

You wedding looked beautiful!  And your make-up amazing.....I am such a fan of MAC and wish I could have someone there to do my make up!

I just wanted to ask you about your reception - you mention that you were all dancing yet when I look on the website it states that dancing/music is not allowed in the seaside grill??

Also did you take your own bows for the chairs??

Thank you for all the advice you have posted.....man has it helped!

Look forward to hearing from you!

Not sure about the dahlias but the wedding planners at the resort will be able to tell you pretty quickly about the availability and cost. 55 people is a ton, you will have so much fun with that many!! You may want the seaside grill , the poolside might be a bit tight especially for dancin.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
