Nicole,

My fiance and I are getting married July 29th!!!!   We did end up hiring William Sanchez to do our photography.  Not sure what we will do with the resort photog that comes with the package but will likely have them take pictures of the cocktail hour as we will likely be off with William.  Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!!!

To Wendy or anyother brides that did trash the dress photos,

Did you do trash the dress photos the next day and if so, did you get your hair re-done by the hairdresser at the resort 2 times??? Just wondering what to do about that...

I am getting so excited although my fiance and I aren't getting married until January 2012. We have 55 people that have put deposits down already!!! I just can't wait. Also, I really want dahilas for my bouquet. Does anyone know if they are available in January (or at all)!!!

PS Wendy, you wrote a great summary of your trip which is so very helpful. Thanks!!!

Wendy, thanks so much for the excellent summary!!! Very helpful!

I can't wait to leave for our wedding... i'm so excited/stressed, i just want to fast forward the next few weeks.

i have recently had a bit of remorse about my dress (my fiance's aunt made it for me and i HATE IT), so i've had the added stress of looking for a new dress that doesn't require that many alterations. thankfully found something tonight that fit beautifully, just needed shortening.

I didn't get my hair re-done, i just slept lightly on it and touched it up the next day and it was fine, surprisingly! I did my own makeup too so there was no extra cost. Not sure about the dahlias but the wedding planners at the resort will be able to tell you pretty quickly about the availability and cost. 55 people is a ton, you will have so much fun with that many!! You may want the seaside grill , the poolside might be a bit tight especially for dancin.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
