did you ever find out timing for the walk down the aisle? I have the exact same question...

I only picked 3: walking in, signing the certificate, walking out

I didn't mind, since that means we can go to the cocktail hour too. We have the Mexican trio playing. should be fun!
In my experience I definately recommend leaving at least an hour after the ceremony before you start your cocktail hour. By the time you have finished the service, had kisses and congratulations from your guests, done the confetti and group shots the hour just flies, thats even before you and hubby have even had your couples photos done which are still likely to go over into the cocktail hour.
Our judge was also 20 mins late which pushed everything out timewise after the ceremony.

We had the mexican trio play at our reception cos we knew we would be busy with photos during the cocktail hour, they are excellent and really get the party going, you will love them.

Happy planning.

Please dont worry, I know you will but it truly was the best day of my life, yes we had hiccups and hitches but honestly if you dont let things get to you the day will be wonderful. I spent so long stressing over the finer details that really I could laugh now at all that wasted time cos none of them mattered on the day, all that mattered was the man I love standing at the end of the aisle smiling at me, looking like he might jump for joy and I swear the whole place could have fallen down around my ears and I wouldnt have cared!!!. smile123.gif

Ok ladies, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I called Dreams Tulum directly and I kindly explained my dilemma to them. To my surprise they told me not to worry about it! They said they would honor the old promotion (considering I have 12 rooms booked with 36 people) I asked them if they could “kindly put it in writing”, and a day later they sent me the email! My worrying is over, thanks for your support girls- it’s nice to know I have someone to vent to!!!

Jayreneewed, I'm so glad to hear that!!! YAY!! THat will save you a lot of stress that you don't need during your wedding week!!

I wonder if there are any other July brides who will be there around the same time as us! :) It's so exciting to think that we will be there in about 2.5 months! I'm going to be there from July 6-17.

Is your group planning any activities while they are there? We are thinking Xel-ha one day, Tulum Ruins another day, and the dos ojos cenote another day. Plus a shopping trip in there too. We don't want to do too much though cause we really want to relax and enjoy the resort!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
