I absent-mindedly threw my robe on the shelf behind us and broke the champagne glasses and THEN, my robe caught on fire from the candles! Needless to say, I'm sure the maid was wondering what the hell went on the night before when I left her a note asking for a new robe because we had a little "accidento"!!
Hahaha!! That is hilarious wink.gif We're banning any "relations" this month, so maybe despite the tiredness of the eventful wedding day we can still muster the energy to do somethin-somethin'... which reminds me, i still need to get some decent night time wear

Lol ! On our side we partied hard until 4:30 in the morning. We were exhausted and, we had quite abit to drink ! We came back to our room and it was nice and set up for newlywed night - you know, the swan, the rose petals, the chocolates - hubby was like, let's get some ! He laid on the bed while I was brushing my teeth and when I came back, no more than 1 minute I swear, he was snoring. friday.gif

LMAO - these stories are awesome!! I can see something funny like this happening with hubby and I because we have been together for 6 + years, so sex is nothing "special" lol....our friends told us that they were both too tired on their wedding night as well, and they didn't even get back to their room until 4 am...brutal! anyway, we'll see what happens. I'm sure if we don't do the horizontal mambo that night, he'll make some joke about now that we are officially married the sex stops...lol!! he always tells this joke about the one substance found that can stop a woman's sex drive - wedding cake! lol...

Ha, I love this thread, too funny. When I got married the first time my husband was pretty drunk & I was a little tipsy but we were exhausted and just crashed. I know with my future DH that I definitely don't want to get too drunk & really just enjoy our night together and hopefully have a little fun : )

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
