AshleyRose's pink/orange boarding pass STDs - ROUGH DRAFT - Feedback?

Recommended Posts

Hey Ladies,

I finished draft 1 of our boarding pass STDs. What do you think?

The black dot in the corner is for a hole punch... so you can ignore that wink.gif

I'm working on finalizing some stuff (ahem, actually booking the wedding) as well as one more "response" page ... but I'm not sure what I want the response page to look like yet. Feedback would be appreciated... especially on the letter. I didn't want to dwell on the fact that I know people aren't going to come -- but I also wanted to acknowledge what everyone knows that we know.

They look great! It's a lot of information for an STD, though, IMHO ... but I guess it's better to have too much info than too little. However, since you have a website, you may want to pair down the STD and direct them to the website for more of the nitty gritty details.

Thanks for the feedback. I was wondering if it was too much information... I have to balance the amount of information because he has a lot of missionary friends and family that don't have regular access to the internet -- so they will need as much as possible to make their choice... I just hope it doesn't overwhelm the other folks.

Thanks for the info on the metalic cardstock. We weren't really planning on printing anything on it -- maybe doing some heat embossing.

I think the letter sounds fine. Don't worry about dwelling on the fact that people can't come. It is good to let them know not to feel obligated.

You have a great start. Don't worry it took me almost a week and three pages of posts from the wonderful ladies on here to get mine looking the way I wanted. Carla :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
