Martin and have really been getting into wine the past year or so.

Here are our favs right now:

White

* Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc (2007, New Zealand, $10-15) This is my absolute favorite white! It is light, refreshing and I love the peach in it - it is really easy to drink so be careful wink.gif

* Barefoot Pinot Grigio (California, $5-9, great inexpensive white - we serve this at our art gallery and always get compliments. I was strictly a red wine girl before this!)

* Clos du Bois Pinot Grigio (California, $10-15)

Red

* Peter Lehmann's Clancy - 43% Shiraz, 42%Cab, 15% Merlot (2004, Australia, $16-22) This is our FAV red!

* Clos du Bois Merlot (2004, California, $10-15)

* Ravenswood Shiraz (California, $8-12, we also like the Cab & Merlot)

As you can tell we love Australian & New Zealand wines, with Californians following close behind.

I'd love to see your favs and add to our collection! :)

Oh, and if you have any good champagnes you'd like to add I'd love to see those as well. We're spoiled and like Moet on occasion wink.gif

Schramsburg is a good, affordable sparkling.

Bollinger is even better.

California wines: Matanzas Creek, Murphy Goode, Cardinale, Alexander Valley Vineyards, KJ Taylor Peak, ... let me know more about what you like from CA already and I can recommend some others.

I love my husband's wine! We make wine! We also buy it and try something different each time. I'll have to go check the bottles and tell you what ones. We actually have some grapefruit wine thats being made right now. Though peeling all those grapefruit was a PITA!!!!!

I get the Piper in a split quite often when we're out and I want some bubbles!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
