I just received an email from ana y jose saying that they are not affected. Jackie the WC said, " the hotels that are been closed are on the left hand side of the road (from Azul blue Eurostar down to the archaeological site." I then emailed Eurostar because that is where our room block is and the WC said that they are technically open but that the palapa and some of the restaurants are closed. It sounds like all the hotels are still being inspected and it is unsure whether they will be asked to close or not. In the meantime part of the hotel is closed but they are still open to guests. Its all a bit confusing. I feel terrible for all the Dreams Tulum brides and of course all the people who work at these hotels!
