My FI quite possible has the worst memory. My B-day is Friday August 22nd. We had been talking for a long time about making that our legal day and then going to San Francisco to my favorite resturaunt Butterfly, and then possible to a show. And we would obviously stay the night becuase it is an hour a way and we like to drink with dinner!

Yesterday FI tells me that he has planned for all his boys to come into town to go shopping for there wedding attire and then they would have a boys weekend. frown.gif

So tonight I tell him that my feelings were hurt because he forgot all about my B-day and planned this whole boy weekend thing. Then he tells me he is sorry, but I should have put it on our calendar hit.gif like its my fucking fault. UGGGGhhhh men, smile105.gif

omg. what a bummer!! you'll have to let him know that he has some serious making up to do.

i don't know what "put it on our calendar" means for you... but i was tired of dealing with this same sort of thing, so i went to target and got a $15 white board that fixed the problem! it has 3 different sections: calendar space- where you write in the date & any planned activities, blank white board space for notes, and a corkboard section to tack on important papers. PLUS- the whole things magnetic. it's hanging right next to the front door & is wonderful!!

maybe something like this will help you keep your plans.

best of luck!

OMG I sooooooooooooo feel your pain. My DH tells me to email him things so he can put me in his outlook calendar. GRRRRR "If its not in my calendar it doesn't exist" Those words have started many tiffs!

He is gonna have to go way above and beyond to make up for this. And why can't he reschedule his plans with the boyshuh.gif? Helllo wifey comes 1st!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
