Recommended Posts

My reception was going to be at fiesta americana condesa but they decided to bump us off of their schedule. they had a bigger group requesting our date and since the contract was not signed yet we lost the date it is MAY 16 2009.(all we needed to do is sign the contract we picked out the menu countless e mails) i wanted to know if any of you know of any restaurants that do large partieshuh.gif? any help would really help me out about 65 guest or more. I am on a real tight budget most resort are too high but if you got a good deal i would love to hear of it. Oyah i just got email that they are willing to do my date but that it will be bit crowed feedback.gif I am not going to say no till i find something else... but i am so MAD!!!

Oh sorry to hear that. It must be very frustrating. I was actually married at the Condesa. What type of restuarant were you interested in? There are a few options that come to mind but they all have Mexican cuisine.

Hacienda Sisal - Coming soon (We did our Mother's Day dinner here)

La Habichuela.com (We had our rehearsal dinner here)

La Casa de las Margaritas (Just ate dinner here one night)

Try the Melia Cancun next door. The cost would likely be about the same as the Condessa. Lorito Joe's Restaurant is not to far away and could likely handle a group that size.

Not sure of what type of reception that you are looking for- but the Hyatt has a private restaurant that you can have privately for about 75 people- the cost is $5 pp to have it privately...it is gorgeous depending on what type of dinner place you are looking for.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
