2bebridejamaica don't be upset with the loss 1 lb is good you may be gaining muscle which is why you are not seeing a big difference on the scale.

My weigh was ok also not what I wanted and I also get on the scale after I pee like that is going to make a huge difference. I lost 1.5 which I guess is not bad for eating out all weekend. I need to stay focused on the weekend it is just so hard lol!

Wow! Everyone did really well!! I guess I'm the only looser who gained! ;( My own fault though!

For those of you who lost 3+ lbs and are upset about it...I think that is a wonderful amount and not just because I gained...

You don't want to loose too fast because you want to be able to keep it off. Be happy with the loss and know that you are on the right track! wink.gif

Also...everyone's body is different. Before the wedding I was really good about eating only chicken and veggie and barely cheated and went to the gym 4-5 times a week for over an hour and that was from January - May and I only lost 15 lbs total! I was happy with it but I felt like I should have lost more because I was working my butt off and some people loose so much more.

There are so many variables that go into each person's situation that's it's not fair to ourselves to compare with others...not that anyone was...I just am trying to offer some support based on my feelings in the past! wink.gif

Way to go everyone!

I didn't lose, but I didn't gain this week either. Not a supprise as I did eat very well and drank way to many beers this week.

I'm kickin' my butt into high gear this week. I've started to run in the morning and started watching what I'm eating. Hopefully I'll start to see some results next week.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
