I've sent out the reminder email to those of you that I have an email address for (in some cases I took if from the PayPal payment). Let me know if you didn't get it and want to, or did get it and don't want to in the future!

Good luck, everyone!

I get a handful of fresh green beans layed out on a cookie sheet, sprinkle it with about a tsp of extra virgin olive oil, some salt, pepper, and garlic powder and mix it all together, then stick it in the oven for 15 minutes at 375...yum!

i do the same thing w/ asparagus and zucchini. last night, i cut my zucchini into small pieces and put it in my spaghetti sauce. it was YUMMY!

while i'm on spaghetti sauce, i don't know how many of you make it yourself, but it's SO much healthier than buying jars. i use a few cans of diced, salt-free tomatoes, salt-free tomato sauce, and tomato paste. i add some onions, garlic, oregano, parsley, and often red pepper flakes. other times, i'll add shittake mushrooms or black olives.

back in january, when i was working w/ a personal trainer, he told me that even if i'm sore, i should still walk a lot b/c it keeps your blood flowing - even if it hurts, don't stay stationary.

hi everyone- I am not in the bl3 club, but i am trying VERY hard to lose weight.

I am addicted to pasta and i just wanted to share a dish that is a great substition that i have been loving.

FAKE MAC & CHEESE

chop up cauliflower really tiny (mini bite size) & saute or boil until soft.

in a fry pan toss with with a few tbs. milk (i use soymilk) and sprnkle in some 2% grated cheese.

then i thrown it in a small casarole dish in the oven with another layer of chese on top and bake until its crispy. top with ground pepper!

i know, i know the cheese is sort of bad....but if you use lowfat the dish is a great low carb fake pasta for when you're really craving it

just wanted to share.

I think I may have to try that. It does sound good.

I was actually able to do my dance revolution today. I did both level one and level two. I was sweating like mad and my Mom was having a reat time watching. Not sure what I am doing for supper yet tonight, maybe some soup, but I am really trying to watch my portion controls.

So, I worked out today~ twice! haha I had to do something before weigh in and to make up for not doing anything yesterday. I just weighed myself to check my progress and it looks better than I thought. Hopefully I'm even lighter in the morning.

I gained a pound! I didn't work out at all and got really hammered drunk on Monday. I"m not surprised. The AHR is this weekend, so I'm not expecting next Wednesday to be stellar either.

I work well under pressure, LOL. Hopefully I can rally from behind!

I've had a so-so week. I started working 2 jobs (well technically 3) so going from unemployed to overempployed has left me exhausted. I haven't been to the gym in almost 3 weeks. BUT all of my jobs are very physical so I haven't really felt like I've missed the gym. My weight has stayed the same, but I'm very much okay with it. This means I haven't gained any of the weight I lost starting last season so I know it won't come back! That's good enough for me for this week! cheer2.gif

My eating has been terrible (I had a cheeseburger, chocolate bar AND bag of chips last night... oh yeah & a beer! fryingpan.gif) But I'll try to get myself back on track so I can do things right!

Congrats on all the hard work everyone's been doing!!

It's tough, but it's do-able! I just passed my 1-year anniversary of not drinking pop 2 weeks ago actually! It's pretty hard at the beginning, but after a while you don't even want it anymore. I see people drinking it & I can't imagine trying to swallow a sip of it.. I think I'd gag now!! You definately can do it!!

I went to a bbq the other day & someone cup bok choy in half (the long way) dipped it in olive oil with seasoning & the bbqed it for a few minites. I personally didn't try it, but everyone else raved about how tasty it was. Sounds like a very different, but easy thing to try.

Good luck ladies, you can do it!

You may not be able to join with us to win the money, but what if you just follow along with us & weigh yourself weekly & stuff, but keep track of your own weight? I doubt anyone would mind if you were a part of the chats with us & that way you can stay motivated & join up next season if you'd like!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
