I agree...the rules were clear and things do happen but they should still be able to shoot you an email to let you know instead of not say anything at all.

I also agree with this...as said above...the rules are clear and honestly it's not because I want the pot to be $15 more and one step closer to winning but ann shouldn't have to deal with this and issue refunds, etc...plus I don't know if refunds cost money...

By doing percentage it's fair all the way around. You will do well as long as you stay on track and if you get off track just get back on. I can't honestly say I follow my own advice...but I definately know it works! :) Overall I would like to loose 20-25 lbs...but that will take a while. If I can loose 8-10 during this jaunt...I will be happy! Of course I had 2 eggo waffles for breakfast, 2 beers and pretzels for a mid morning snack, a cheeseburger w/ bacon and french fries and a mixed drink for lunch, a scoop of mint chip for dessert, and I am now eating shredded cheese out of bag! Should I be a poster child for what NOT to do in order to win this thing!!!!! smile27.gif

According to the BMI charts I should lose about 40lbs relating to my body type. Many people think I am crazy for saying that. We'll see what happens. Even if I see some of that I will feel accomplishment. I am having a hard time getting the weight to come off. It has been a very slow process this year. Oh well. This is great motivation though!

I'm aiming for about 20lbs to be gone.. and I think then I'll be much happier. Once this started up I knew I needed to come on over since I have less than 4 months and I have done nothing to lose any of it. I've been to the gym everyday now all week ... and I even stopped smoking.. YAY ME!!! I wanted to do that for a while.. but it's a double edged sword I think.. trying to get skinny and stop smoking .. if one thing isn't pissing me off the other is.. LOL

I know I will never get down to the weight when I met Jay since it was before Noah born.. but 20lbs I would be happy...

OOOOOOOOoo if I had the extra money .. I would be back up on nutrisystem in a heartbeat.. last time I lost 17lbs in 1 month!! I've got the "Mommaness".

first let me say your meal plan today CRACKED ME UP! haha "poster child" LMAO!smile120.gif

and yeah, i know percentage makes it fair, but if you go by the whole "1-2 lbs lost per week is healthy" then i'd have to be pretty darn unhealthy in order to get a high enough percentage to win! (not that it matters ... your menu sounded really good to me, haha!)

actually i've done rather well so far (haha only been 2 days!) ... i even just went to famous dave's BBQ for dinner tonight to celebrate FBIL's bday, and i had a salad with grilled salmon. lemme tell ya, famous dave's isn't "famous" for their SALAD ... we're talking ribs and pulled pork and brisket and beans and mac & cheese and corn and mashed potatoes.

did i mention i had a SALAD? and went to the gym 2 days in a row now!

So I was going to go for a really long walk with the kids today, but I saw a big black cloud coming and decided to play it safe. Thankfully I did, because it down poured and the thunder was so loud that it was rattling the door. It woke up my son and I had to rock him in the rocking chair and I turned on the fish tank light so he could watch them swim around. Tomorrow I have to work, and I will be on my feet all day, so I will try and make up for it. I also drink the most water when I am at work!!! I am trying to get motivated!

I'm doing ok. I went shopping for my candy buffet for the AHR and let me tell you, I do not do well with temptation. I did have salad for dinner and 1 bean burrito.

I really need to get better about my eating times. I'll grab breakfast between 8-9. I always start off healthy! Steel cut oatmeal and fresh fruit, maybe some yogurt. Then, I don't get lunch until 2-4 usually. I'm not hungry at 6 for dinner, I want to eat a 9-10.

I also eat cheese out of a bag all of the time, Michelle. Don't feel bad! I about died when I read that!

I'm not going to have time to really workout this weekend. I have to psycho clean my house. I've got one of those plastic sweatsuits so I might need to throw that on.

I still haven't tried on my dress to make sure I can zip it up next Sat!

I'm ready for the week to be over and the weekend to begin. Thought I was really going to munch the night away last night, but instead went outside and did some weeding in the garden. This is the first time I have attempted one and everything is growing into each other. Maybe I will end up with some hybrid veggies. I did get some exercise in this morning so I guess that is a good start.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
