I think that I’m going to explode if I don’t get this out…

My pregnancy test was also a faint line, and when I went to my doctor she also told me it was very faint, but that was just because it was so early on in the pregnancy and I am now 34 and a half weeks, so I am sure that is all that is going on.

With respect to the drinking, I think most of us did/do that before we know we are pregnant, if we are not actively trying, why would we even think to not drink, so do not worry about that.

I wanted to go to a wedding in Scotland last weekend and my doctor told me that flying was fine as well because I was healthy enough. My husband on the other hand did not want to chance and it really did not like the idea of me flying. So, it will be fine to fly as long as all is well with you. I do agree though that you should try to move your wedding up or back and see if you can just use the same deposits, I am sure the resort would let you. Talk to your travel agent and find out your options before you make a decision.

Congratulations!!!

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH EVERYONE! I knew that sharing with all of you would make me feel better. Your words of encouragement and support are so helpful.

All I want to do is plan -whether I should move the wedding, what to do about my dress (even though I know that it's really a trivial thing in the grand scheme of things), who to tell first and how to tell them, and even what the baby's name should be -even though I know that I'm getting WAY ahead of myself.

My mind just can't stop racing though. It's going to be a long wait for the ultrasound and my next doctors appointment.

Anyways, thanks again for your thoughts and messages. It means a lot. I will keep you up to date as I find out more.

Hugs for everyone smile03.gif

You ladies are the best!

I have nothing really major to add, but I didn't want to read and run.

I do hope everything works out! Try not to worry about it too much and just take it easy (believe me, I know this is easier said than done). Good luck with everything.

Okay, I can kinda relate to most of this. I also have PCOS and we never thought we could have babies. I only have 1-3 periods a year and never know when/if I ovulate. Oh and I only have 1 1/2 ovaries, I had to get one removed because a tumor was growing on it. I also have hypothyroidism and am insulin resistant.

To make a long story short. I got pregnant on Valentine's Day but didn't find out until 6 weeks later, after I had gotten really drunk once or twice.

I had to cancel my dream wedding dress and reorder a different one that I don't love. I will be almost 6 1/2 months pregnant when I get married next week. That's about the cut off to fly internationally. If you are getting married internationally, you really shouldn't be flying and really I don't think you should fly that late in your pregnancy.

Can you postpone your wedding or move up the date a few months?

I am sure you are stressed, just try to take it easy. Oh and the only reason I ever too a PG test was because my boobs were sore and swollen...It wasn't until I was later along that I got nauseus and was sleepy all the time.

Good luck!

Congrats!!! I know the waiting is hard, but try to relax. As others have said, faint positive pregnancy tests are usually because it is early and the hormone levels are still low.

Wait until you have a little more information, but I would say you should try to either move up your date or postpone it. Flying late in your third trimester is risky... especially internationally! Ann was stuck in California for how many weeks?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
