Dreams Huatulco are there anymore brides?

Recommended Posts

Hi cdnvb9!

Thanks so much for the information. I am definitely starting to stress since I really have no idea of what I want for the ceremony or the reception. I know the packages contain some items - is anyone out there customizing their package? I see that you booked a photographer. I am so unsure of everything!

Hey Everyone!

There are more pics that I found on the applevacations.com website. Check them out :)

Also Silver - we are going to have to customize something to because we are going to have more than 80 people at our wedding. What we are doing I dont know because it is far away for us.

I am so happy that I found this forum! I am getting married March 10, 2009 and I am slowly turning into a stress case. The lack of information or contact from the Dreams Resort has totally freaked me out. I am mostly concerned about my guests enjoying their stay, and the photography from the day of. I know I am going to have a dozen questions, but for now reading through this forum has been extremly helpful! Thank you!

Hi everyone!!!! After me reading so much about Huatulco, it sounds interesting to me. We have not finalized our wedding day or date or place yet but the wedding will happen sometime in June - July this year. Dreams Huatulco Resort in Mexico sounds great to me.After the renovation and all it sure be brighter and more beautiful. We are expecting around 60 guests. Can someone give information about the person to contact?

It would be helpful if I could get an idea about the amount of deposit and the total expenditure expected? What the various packages offered and which one have you opted for?feedback.gif

I am getting married March 10 at the resort. We finally got a response yesterday and we got the contract, although everything is TBA, so we are really signing a contract for the date and time and nothing else.

I believe Anel was the one who responded to our email, however from what I understand the first couple of week in January they will have a more consistant planner. Cross your fingers!

I am just really wanting some pictures from the resort so we can decide where we can the ceremony, reception, etc. Those have been impossible to get, and Anel promised those by December 1.

Hi girls!! Welcome to the forum! Its so great there are getting to be more and more brides!

Jenluvsmike is heading down there Jan 16th-23rd for her wedding and I know she will have a big review with lots of pics when she gets back! And also, my sister (and MOH) will be there that same week staying at a villa nearby dreams for a friends wedding, and she is going to go scope out dreams one of the days and take lots and lots of pics for me. She will have wireless while she is there as well so as soon as I get stuff I will post them here!

I hope Anel is able to get pictures sooner than that. All I have seen is the new ones on applevacations.com and some that a user posted on tripadvisor. Nothing of what I think we all want though, re: reception and ceremony locations.

About the packages.. I know we are going with the ultimate wedding package for $2650 and we had to put down a $500 deposit to reserve our date (Dec 30th, 2009). Thats all we have done so far as obviously our date is pretty far away still :)

Welcome to the forum! It is great to have some new brides!

All I have received to date is the contract which everything is TBD as well. We have our date and time and that is about it. I was told that the wedding coordinator was starting last week, but I still have not heard anything. My fiance and I want to go down in January to check out the resort so we know what we are signing up for. I am looking forward to having some additional information as well. rockon.gifrockon.gifhttp://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ies/rockon.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
