No, Miguelina is still there, along with two other ladies from what they have posted on the Dreams Forum from the Director of Sales.. That's very reassuring I guess, and they allready replied to my email this morning!!!

They burn out or move on to better opportunities all the time. Just from the few months that I've been on this site, I've noticed that it's common at a lot of the hotels, not just Dreams. Juliana was nice to work with, but so busy that it took weeks to get a response from her. However, their assistant (Maria Carbrera) usually responds very quickly. I hope they replace her soon or Miguelina is going to be swamped.

That's a good point about printing all the email correspondence between yourself and the wedding coordinators. idea.gif I'm leaving next week to Dreams Punta Cana for my wedding and trust me I will be printing all of my email correspondences. I've been in contact with three wedding coordinators from Dream Punta Cana so far but Maria is suppose to be my wedding coordinator now. I guess I'll see who will actually be my wedding coordinator when I get there next week. huh.gif Other than that I can't wait.smile123.gif

I have never gotten the same person twice when receiving an email response to my questions. I can't complain on the speed though, they usually get back to me within 2-3 days.

Purple Rain, you'll need to let us all know how things go. Have a great trip and a fabulous wedding!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
