Virginia-At RPRM no they don't have a laundry area, but yes they will do it for you. I can't remember the prices, but I did look and don't remember thinking it was that bad. I also didn't have to get my dress steamed as it wasn't wrinkled, but there was a price for getting things pressed so I'm sure they can do it.

As far as your hair, I don't think you need to have a trial done. As long as you bring a pic of what you want they are really talented and can pretty much recreate anything. I was a little nervous but they did a great job on myself and my two sisters air.

So haven't been on here for a while.. hope all you RPRM brides are doing well :) :)

Scarp- YAY congrats, cant wait to hear about your experience. I am sure it will be amazing just like it was for me.

Virginia- I agree with Dana, they did a fantastic job with our hair. I think I even liked it better then the hair trial i did at home with my regular hair stylist as I got it colored. I would not have had to do the trial at home in my opinion. Not sure if this was posted with my review but here is the back of our hair, it is me and the sister on my right as you are looking at the pic from your computer who got it done! Our hair.jpg

Well get anxious to get all my prof pics back.. he thought he would have them done in 2-3 weeks, well its been over 4 weeks now! Just emailed him saying I was getting excited to see them. He took well over 1000 I would guess so I am sure it is just taking longer then he thought. I will share some as soon as i get them!

seeflorwers...when is your big day?  I have thick curly hair too. hope they can deal with it.

questions:

how does the legal paper work work?  do we get all we need to make it valid in the states?  do we get the marriage certificate?

how is the DJ?  one sheets says you pay for 4 hours, but the dinner is only 2 hours?

anyone work with calyspo photography??  what package did you get?  can you negotiate?--i don't need an album, but want them for 2 hours?!  can you book them at your meeting or does it need to be down in advance?

3 weeks!!!

I'm getting married on April 29, 2011. I had to laugh at the "Monica from Friends" comment because that is me all the way!!!  I hope the spa has a lot of hair spray and gel. LOL!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
