Nicyx - looked at your website today! looks great !!! I was gonna ask you to add the passport info but looks like you already may have done so by now.

Ladytrunck - do you have pics of your shoes, where did you get them from?

We got our wedding bands today. I love mine I got two really thin paved chain diamonds

below is a link. I wanted one to go on each side. My Fiance got a 4mm very simple wedding band and I am getting it engraved.

Thanks Chloe! I wouldn't know if it was a good deal either, but I told FI about the prices and he seemed pretty stoked about it (he smokes them from time to time). Thank you SO much for the idea! It's one of the few details that is not girly that FI can be excited about (he probably doesn't care about the fans, or maracas, etc that are pink and orange haha).

Nicola- great website! Another idea, well, I did this on ours, is to put how you met, proposal story, etc.

Samira- Love your wedding bands!!!!! I'm getting mine from Blue Nile too! That's where FI got my E-ring. This is the band I'm going to get:

Bezel-Set Diamond Eternity Ring in Platinum - Details

And my shoes, from Zappos.com (free shipping back and forth if you need to return, GREAT customer service!):

All I know is that the guy started the price out at $14 per, and that's what we negotiated him down to. I can tell you though, that all our guests loved the idea, especially being from America, cuban's are a big treat! We brought a cutter and had personalized matchboxes made to go out with them.
Hi Guys! I just got back from playa and think I might have met with the cigar guy on 5th that you are talking about - here is the info -

Cigar Factory

Of course - there are probably several cigar shops on 5th, but your description of the store sounded a lot like this one. Hope this helps!

Thanks Chloe and Riri- that sounds like a great idea and I just told my Fi and he loved the idea too.

I got my first email from Ael last week! YAY! I can't believe it's getting close! I emailed her back yesterday with a few questions and am waiting to hear back- mainly we have 55 booked right now and I REALLY want the 6:45 dinner at Chilis I have seen other brides have. I have my fingers crossed!!

We had our couples shower this weekend and it was Amazing! My fi's 2 sisters threw it- it has been mid-70's here for last few weeks and of course Sat. the high was 37' too cold for Texas! but we had a blast and just got done going through all of our new gifts :) Also we got Fi's suit today at Hugo Boss- checking off that to do list! We are also going to register for a pre-marital weekend that we have heard great stuff about- I'd be happy to share the info if anyone is interested...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
