Wow, Desirees wedding is THIS WEEKEND!! Everyone keeps telling me, "before you know it, it will be here" and I feel like it is lifetimes away... however, I'll have all of your weddings to hear about in the mean time...that makes me feel SO much better!

I'm still in denial on which month we're in... when I first read about Desirees wedding being Aug 1, it seemed so far away. And it's here! I totally agree Jannae! My wedding seems like it's SO far away, but time definitely does fly by! I remember when mine was over a year away, and now I'm down to less than 8 months!

Lisa, I love your invites!! especially the colours!! i kinda wish I was creative enough.. well maybe the patience to make my invitations. I tried to do my save the dates, and it took me 3-4 months to do.. and then I found this forum.. LOL. go figure.

I apologize if this has already been asked/posted, but for the regular reception dinner, do guests order off the menu, or is it a set menu? Are any of you doing the private dinner? I am considering it depending on how many guests attend.

I'm pretty sure it's a set menu.. the brazilian restaurant they serve you a wide variety of different kinds of meats.. it's more buffet style. and the steakhouse, I believe you get to choose between 4 different types of meat, such as lamb, or beef rib eye, or chicken.

Jannae - wendy got back to me with the rates. They are okay. I contacted the travel agents name that MrsMarch (Alexis) gave me and her rates were much better even though it was an approx since the June rates are not in yet.

 

Alexis - Let me know what you find out about the restaurant. I may consider doing a private dinner too depending on how many people comes!

 

Okay I also have a random question does the resort allow fireworks after the wedding or any fireworks packages, does anyone know?

Hi girls! As for our reception, we really want it to be private. From what I've heard so far, guests just order off of the regular menu. It could be different for a private dinner though, so I don't know for sure. As for fireworks, I haven't heard too much about that, but that would definitely be fun!
