Im hoping and keeping my eyes open for pictures if i stumble across them i will post em just incase someone else is in my position and would like to see each spot.

Thanks again dana, i may just have to take up up on asking more questions at some point!! Things just keep popping up in my head!!! haha

Nicyx,

We chose the Gazebo, I really imagined getting married on the beach, but i changed my mind over time. I like it b/c it is a little more private. I wish I had taken pictures of that stuff when i was there, but i wasn't even engaged yet.

No problem if you have any other questions please feel free to ask!

Dana

I am going to between the beach and the gazebo for the same reason as you Nicyx (dreams of getting married on the beach with the sand under feet)... After seeing the gazebo, I could totally picture getting married there too. I was wondering when do you officially have to decide on the place. I know that they only do one wedding during a specific time frame, so once you have that locked down do you pretty much have until your trip to determine the location?

Thats a good question, as im not as lucky as some of you guys who can go and see the place before we get married, so I too would like to know the ansewer to this just incase we get there and i prefer another place, im sure i will love either of the spots but you just never know...

I love both of the dresses! I think your wedding dress will look great with a sweatheart neckline!

HI ladies!

sorry i have been MIA for a while... things have just gotten very busy.. you know life..

anyways i was wondering for those who have been there, if 2pm is too hot for the ceremony... should i push back to 3pm? will there still be enough time for pictures before sunset (which i think is around 5ish)

also i was wondering what your groomsmen would be wearing along with your future hubby?

thanks and happy late new years!

nicy,we originally said the beach because like you say i think most people who have a dw is to get wed on the beach.but i did,nt like the thought of walking down to the beach and i thought with only having 2 guests it would look a little silly.and when i seen the pic of the gazebo i could,nt resist.i have,nt heard of anyone getting married at the kiosk?there must be a reason.

jnagan, you will have to have made your mind up and confirm your place to be wed when you meet with the wc a few days before the wedding.

dreamingofsunshine,i would think it would be hot at 2pm but to be honest i think we will suffer the heat whatever time?what month are you going?i think you will be fine for time if you say 3pm too.

Mrs March I love your dresses! I can't wait to see pics of yours with the new neckline and sash.

Nicyx- The beach has been our dream too, and we are going with it! Our date is before yours, and I'll DEFINITELY be posting pics for everyone to see. Then you can decide!

Dreaming of Sunshine- I agree with Shellk on this one- I think it's going to be hot no matter what time you do it. I decided on 5pm, because it may be a little cooler, and then be closer to dinner and stuff.

Cant wait to see your pics :-) Definatly looking forward to seeing a beach wedding at the Riu RMP.

We have just been talking and we were saying that no matter what we will definatly stick to the beach as its what we have both always wanted.

I dont think id be quite as happy elsewhere, but the gazebo is definatly beautiful, there is no question about that!! Would love to see what the Kiosk looks like!

Nicyx- What is your email address? For some reason I think I have pictures of the other two locations saved on my work computer...I can't use photobucket there, but I can email them to you.

Jannae- I haven't thought TOO much about my bachelorette party yet. From what I did though I was thinking something along the lines of dinner at RPRM first and then going out somewhere on 5th Ave. I'm not a huge nightclub person either, but I figured it might be fun with such a big group of us.

Josie and Lisa- I hope you girls will check back-in soon! Did either of you get announced by the DJ at your reception? I'm just thinking about if we're going to do that.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
