Jetsbride- Good luck with everything! It may not rain all day so you still may be in the clear if it does. Alot of times it only tropically rains for a few minutes then is sunny again. The forcast has been in my iphone for months and it always has rain in the forcast.

...you may be able to find a really stylish umbrella to use just incase. I'm an accessories girl so that would be my back-up plan.

We ARE making a playlist for our DJ but its only of MUST PLAY songs..... we have a few like "Lose your love" aka "The Josie Song" because it starts out "Josie's on a vacation far away...." so i HAVE to play it! Stuff like that. We also have a playlist of ceremony music that we worked on putting together last night.

Lisa and Josie you are getting so much done!!!!

Oh my Lisa, your day is so very close---- and I love love love your planning thread! Everything came together perfectly! I’m sure the weather will be fine. Maybe it will rain a little, but I’m sure it will not be bad.

Josie- you look gorgeous in that dress! Have a blast this weekend—I can’t wait to hear about it!!

Sammysgirl- that is very exciting about the flowers, that is cool that you get to do all of that extra planning. I’m not having an AHR, so it’s only the Palace stuff for me.

Shellk- that is SO funny about thinking you got the wrong location. It is SO something I would do! I always question things I do after the fact! Let us know how your alterations go! is this your first fitting?

Well I got to see the "first run" of my flowers today and they look GREAT! They are actually just silks, and look much better than expected. I am planning to carry the real bouquet from the resort, but I needed to have bouquets for my AHR...once I get them I will post the pics!

I am addressing and mailing invites starting tomorrow! We are doing separate invites for the ceremony in Mexico and our AHR. The first set going out will be for Mexico, which is what I will work on tomorrow with my momma! We won't send out the invites for our AHR until 3 months or so before. I guess I need to post pics of my invites as well!

I'll have to figure out how to post pics first lol!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
