Katie- Thanks!! I canâ€t believe you had to bring back your shoes! Those were gorgeous… but I could totally see how they would get caught on the dress. I would have never thought of that. Have you been doing a lot of online shoe shopping? I canâ€t stop blush2.gif

Lisa- Iâ€m SO glad you had a great party!! What fun game--- and with 30 of you!? What a blast, and you got to keep the underwear. I need to do that!

And look ladies… every couple of months from now on weâ€ll have one of our wedding reviews to read and new pics to see! I am so excited for everyone…

LadyT: about my 3 dresses: one I am going to wear for my ceremony- its a maggie, one will be worn for the reception in Mexico, and I'm thinking I will sell the other one or possibly use it for my TTD...I'll post pics as soon as I have some of myself in the dresses!

Happy Friday!! I sent my invitations the other day and some guests have already received them!!

What did you include along with your invites? I just sent invite and rsvp card. I am sending a follow up card only to guests who reply “yes” but I am not sure what to include on the card. I was thinking to ask the name of resort they are staying at (I know RPRM has an 80% policy and the guests that have booked so far are staying at the RPRM), dates of arrival/departure…..what else do I need to know?

Thanks!

Alexis

Mrsmarch4- we are just sending out invites with an RSVP card. Our invitations included wording about visiting our wedding website for travel accommodation information. We also included a blurb about additional information regarding our AHR to follow the mexico invites so if people decline they know there will be another time for us all to celebrate together.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
