Thanks Sammysgirl! I found them on zappos.com. I looked for blue, but it looks like all they have are the pink, dark purple and black. Best thing about that website though- besides the free back and forth shipping- you can return for a full refund for a whole YEAR! I tend to flip flop on decisions.... so this is perfect for me!

ladytrunk, you only just got your dress don,t think about wrecking it yet lol.

well ladies we went and collected our rings yesterday.im starting to freak.the lady in the shop said ooooohhh you not got long left now have you.god knows what i will be like when its nearer the time.where have you guys put your rings?i have told jon to hide them so i cant keep putting it on.

just two questions what are you doing about vows?i would like to do just the norm what ever they do but when we exchange rings i would like us both just to say a few lines of our own.don,t think fi will want to but if i decide to he will hehe.also do we give the rings to wc or officiant or does our male friend who is attending have them like in a "normal" wedding?

It's funny that you said that Shellk. As soon as I got the dress, I actually wanted to do a TTD more so I could wear it again! Originally, I was going to get a 2nd dress for it... It really all depends on the photog we get. If the hotel one has a way better price, we will do it the day before the wedding (FI prefers). If not, then hopefully we can find someone for the day after.

I am also going to have to do the same thing you are and hide my wedding ring! CONGRATS!! I am not getting mine until maybe April or so. Unless the price is lower before then... but if FI does not hide it, I will wear it at home 24/7! :)

As for the vows, we are going along with whatever they have, and maybe writing personal letters to eachother or something beforehand. That's a great idea to say something personal while exchanging rings... I need to think about that. And with the rings- I was planning on having our ring bearer (nephew) hold them... is that standard??

Sammysgirl- you have 3 dresses?!?! Have you decided on one yet? (please forgive if you've said it in a prev post) That is typical of me, which is why I will totally stop looking now. I know myself wayyy to much!

LadyTrunck- I LOVE your dress! And I love the pink shoes too! I'm hoping to get a pair in blue...I had to bring back my original pair, because they kept getting caught on my dress (they had rhinestones all over them)...I'm so mad because I was in love with them! Now back to square one with the shoe shopping.

And Lisa- Your hair definitely looks good both ways...what is your natural color? Since it DOES look good both dark and blonde, I would say go with whichever is closer to you natural color. I'm actually starting to think about the same thing though...I've been highlighting and lowlighting my hair for years...always different shades...I can't decide which way I want it for the wedding.

My stagette was sooo fuun!!! It was an amazing party my BM's did an awesome job, there was games, tons to drink and a stripper!!! I am just not sure I can ever have christmas in my parents living room anymore, it might be a little strange!!! For one of the games my BM asked each guest to bring a pair of underwear and I had to guess which guest had brought it and if I got it wrong I had to do a shot...there was like 30 people there, how was I suppose to guess them all right....I only got 2 right!!! I now have an awesome underware collection!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
