Alexis- I actually haven't even thought about doing formal RSVP's, which might be a good idea! I'm hoping to do some type of newsletter a couple months before, and might put something on there about RSVP'ing on our website. I don't think I'm going to send out formal invitations though, only because I will be sending another round of invites for our AHR. As for our reception, we're definitely planning on having a DJ for dancing afterward!

Katie I love the shoes! are you gonna stay in them all night or switch for the reception?

Desiree- Was your photographer Juan Carlos? Was he there for some getting ready pics? Did he edit any of the pics to remove people from the background?

- I have been looking for a photographer but it just seems a lil silly to lose that in the package we have already paid for and the extra fees if the resort photog is good. Im not doing any engagemnet pics or bridals so I Really want Very Good wedding pics. I would love your input!

Thanks girls! I actually got them at a boutique by my house. The name of the designer/brand is Marichi Mani, so you can definitely do a search and order them online. I actually bought a pair before these and ended up returning them after finding them! I just knew I had to have them!

I have some questions for you ladies..

1.Are you doing Speeches, either at the RPRM or at your AHR? If so what speeches are you doing?

2. Is anyone having a slideshow at rprm? I want to but I don't know if they have the equipment avaliable.

3. Have you got your garter yet? I don't know where to get one...??

I actually wasn't planning on doing any type of speech...but should I be!? I also wasn't planning on doing a slideshow...I didn't know if that was even possible. Also, I haven't got my garter yet, but was actually JUST starting to think about it. I'm also unsure of where to get it...the only place I know of around me is David's Bridal or maybe even a couple of other bridal shops. I might even look online to see what I can find.

Sorry I've been totally slacking on this thread. Work is actually busy for once! Lisa- to answer you

1. Jason and I are not doing speeches but our best man & MOH are at the RIU...(we're not having an AHR)
2. I'm not doing a slideshow.....just personally don't really care much about that and also don't want to deal with the equipment issue
3. I haven't bought my garter yet. But Jason is a huge Penn State fan, so I'm thinking of getting this: Penn State NITTANY LIONS Inspired Wedding Garter Set by GartersByKristi on Etsy

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
