Congratulations Josie!!! Even if you are having the actual ceremony in Mexico, it's still an important day!! and it'll be awesome.. So excited for you!!! wish you all the best!

Welcome MrsMarch4.. I haven't decided if I'm doing OOT bags, I think it'll depend on the amount of people that go as well.

my travel agent just called me and told me about 25 more seats were available so, very happy about that!!

Hi Ladies, I am back after a long time, I was in Toronto last few days visiting family! I tried to catch up on all the posts :-)

Josie - Have a wonderful day!

Desiree - How do you feel, less than two weeks left till your wedding date :-)

Ladies I have a question how far in advance did you send out your invitations? My wedding date is June 5th 2010, and I am little confused as to when the right time would be to send out invitations. For the most part our friends/Family already know that we have decided on a destination wedding in Mexico.

I am excited/nervous/anxious/stressed/happy all wrapped up in one, haha!

I mailed my invites out a couple months before because all of my guests knew we were having a DW and those who wanted to come were already booked. I have heard everything from 6 months before to 2 months before. I suggest if you do 2 months to send out save-the-dates wink.gif

Hey ladies :) Thanks for all the well wishes!!! The day went amazing. We were told to show up at 12:30 but didnt go into the court room until about 1:30 (we were waiting on the judge). The whole thing lasted about 3 minutes and she said a few brief vows and we each had to say "i do". We also chose to exchange rings (just random rings since we havent picked ours out yet) so we did that and then she pronounced us husband and wife! She gave us a marriage certificate but said the "real" one won't be available for 10 days and we can either pick it up or they can mail it to us.

Then we went out to lunch (my parents paid) and then dinner (his parents paid)! I have pics but they are on my home computer, I promise to post tonight!! I'm excited to share them with you because nobody else knows or can see!

Also- about the invitations, I did STD's so I'm sending mine out in early August. Hope that helps and thanks again girls! I love you all :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
