Welcome MrsMarch4! Are you also planning your wedding at RPRM? I'm actually not doing Welcome/OOT bags for all of my guests, just because of how expensive it will be. I am planning on doing big OOT bags for my BM's though as their gift. For our guests I plan on having a Welcome Letter in their room when they arrive.

Desiree, your wedding is so soon!

Josie, what happens tomorrow? Did I miss something?

Hi MissMarch! We aren't doing OOT bags. More people are supposedly coming than we originally expected, and we thought it would be a really big pain to get everything down there. We will do travel mugs with a welcome letter and make sure that we have extras of stuff like sunscreen and excedrin in case anyone needs some. We're planning an excursion for the day before the wedding that we'll pay for as a thank you to everyone.

Thanks Shell & Lisa! Kelly - Tomorrow is my legal day :) Originally I was going to wear a white dress...but now I'm all nervous and I think I'd rather just wear regular clothes. I guess it will be a game time decision! I am totally nervous!! I think it just me and it seems so final! I'm feeling like "this is it!" even though its not the actual wedding! Its a nervous excitement though because it feels like i've been waiting forever to start my life with him. Now that my roommate is married I can officially move all of my stuff in and actually live with him full time!

I don't know about OOT bags for our group. We have a lot of people coming, and many of them are arriving before we do! Anyone know how to swing OOT bags in that scenariohuh.gif

Thanks Kelly! We're pretty much pretending its not real =) We're doing it because his parents prefer we be legally married before we live together...since we were going to do it anyway before mexico, we just bumped it up & we can save money on insurance too, how romantic!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
