Josie- That's so exciting that your legal day is so soon! I think we're going to try to do ours the day before we leave for our DW...but just like you, we're not planning on really celebrating after, because we're not considering that our real wedding day either.

Josie - That's awesome you got to sign your new last name!! Exciting!!

I booked our legal wedding day for November 1st, I am excited for it but we are not exchanging rings, it's just going to be the two of us and our dog. I think thats what I am most excited for is that our dog, Rosco, gets to be there for it. I wish he could come to Mexico but he would be all crazy!!

I think we have decided on a new MOH dress for my sister. Here is the link to it.

It isn't here yet, so I am waiting to see what it looks like in person. Her other dress was short and colorful, but now we are all going to be wearing light colors...light khaki, white, beige colors, linen color (BM, MOH, Myself, and FI).

Josie-that's exactly what I was thinking! That makes me feel good that u noticed that b/c hopefully my wedding guests will do the same.

About my bro and SIL-they are COMING! Yes, I am very excited. They aren't worried anymore and they are really excited about going. My brother text me yesterday and said that he is ready to go now, haha!

Right now we have a total of 28 people going including Tyler and I. Hopefully we will have 30 by the end of next week (if another couple books that are on the fence about the trip). Whooohooo

Thank you!

We have changed our wedding from symbolic to religious as of today. I originally thought this was the same thing, but Ael said that they are except the symbolic doesn't make any religious references in the ceremony...so we changed it to religious. Also, just an FYI she said that the chair covers are included in our package (royal). I didn't even know that, so that was good news!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
