Thanks Josie! Yes, that's my inspiration pic. I'm really starting to like the color combo, it just took a little bit of getting used to. I guess my BM drama was worth it in the end!

Lisa, I feel your pain girl. I had the same stuff happen with my girls. Half of them liked one dress and didn't like the one I liked and they didn't want to spend a ton on something they didn't really like, blah, blah, blah. Finally, I just decided that I was going to buy the dress for them and they would have to wear it and they couldn't complain because they didn't have to pay for it. But, to solve your problem, are blue and pink the colors you want? Or were those 2 dresses that you just like the style of and don't care too much about the colors? I'm sure we can find something similar and at least $100 less.

These are some cute chiffon flowey ones that have the feel of that blue one (at least thats what I think) and they would all look good on a variety of body types, as long as color is not an issue. Also, they're all under $80!

Kelly - I just totally stole your idea and made it my avatar! I might have to find a color combo I like better though :) I know I want orange but am not much of a pink girl...trying to find a good accent color.

Are these dresses available in Canada? I know thats a challege for Lisa. I love the dresses you posted though, they're gorgeous!

Hmm, not sure about the Canada thing 100%, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to have them shipped there. They're all available at Women's Clothing, Swimwear, Shoes, Accessories and more at Newport-News.com

On a side not, I found this article about what you wedding colors say about you, I thought it was pretty interesting.

Thanks for posting this!!! I Love it!!! Orange is so me :)

Orange: Spontaneous and daring, brides who choose orange are bold. Because orange is a happy and trendy hue, orange enthusiasts tend to be popular, have excessive energy and are part of a large social circle. From a bright and happy backdrop to an exotic, spicy richness, brides who prefer orange tend to be fearless and curious, with a zest for life.

Josie and Kelly - Thanks for your input and I love your color schemes!!

I really like the dresses you posted Kelly so I am going to see if we can get them here in Canada. I did offer to pay for the dress but it was not accepted. I am looking for either a pink or teal/turquoise dress.

I guess it just seems crazy to me that we are spending so much time (so far 4 shopping trips) to find a BM dress when we found my wedding dress in 2 trips.

Okay, I have to vent...

So the flight schedule just came out for our trip the RPRM for our wedding and the flights in November are leaving on Tuesday & Wednesday (the 3rd/4th or 10th/11th) so far we have sent out our STD's to say November 12 and thats when we booked our wedding for at the RPRM, the problem is if we go on the 10 or 11 we can't have our wedding on the 12th because of the 2 business day rule before the wedding!!! (We are having a religous ceremony, not civil) I am not sure what we are going to do, I am just very anxious to talk to our TA tomorrow and see what she has to say about it because she swore up and down to me that the flights would leave on either thursday, friday, saturday or sunday, if that was true my wedding date would be no problem and it's not easy to just change the date.

Blah!! sorry I am done now, just had to get it off my chest. Do I have full right to be upset? I was totally prepared for things not to go as planned for a DW but to have to change the date is crazy!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
