I know, that's why I have to have somebody else read it! I can't make it through it without tearing up, so I know I definately won't be able to do it when I'll probably already be crying. I've been looking for a way to incorporate my best friends mom into the mix (her family has been like a second family to me, and more members of her family are coming to the wedding than mine!), so I think I'll have her do it. I know it would mean a lot to her too. I just love this poem because its so real and not 'fairy tale'.

Kelly- The poem is PERFECT. I think it will be an amazing emotional touch to your ceremony!!! I love the idea of incorporating your best friends mom. We're in the same boat, I grew up with my BF and our parents are best friends. A TON of her family is coming to our wedding - LOVE IT!

Girls- I think after much going back and forth I decided to do the resort photog. Juan Carlos. Do any of you know how far in advance you're supposed to book him, or do I assume that because he works for the resort he's available?

I feel like I havent done much for the wedding lately and I just got nervous about it :)

Thanks!

Josie - I'm not sure which package you booked for but I got the caprice package and it includes photography so I am assuming I don't have to book it, maybe when you talk to the wc a couple months before the wedding just let her know if you are wanting just what your package includes for pictures or if you will want more.

If you find out otherwise let me know.

hmmmm, i think i booked the royal? i booked the middle package that included stuff for up to 50, they told us if we had more than 50 we'd have to upgrade to the next best package which i think is caprice. we might have to do that based on our guest list- but not sure yet!

Hey girls-I got the Royal package because I should just have around 30 guests. I think that we just assume he is going to be there. I haven't heard of any of the previous RPRM brides having to book him in advance. I think he is just included in the package. I still haven't heard from the resort about the plans for my wedding sad.gif They did tell me that they would contact me a couple months before. I only have 2 months 11 days now! Wow, how time flies by!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
