Aww, I'm so sorry people are dropping out of going to your wedding Desiree. When it all blows over can they re-book their rooms and flights? I have a feeling they might feel pretty silly when your wedding comes around and there's no more swine flu and they aren't there because of it.

I love everyones BM dresses! I usually don't like any of them which is why I wanted to go with something different, but the ones you girls have look great. I'm back to the drawing board with mine for what feels like the millionth time. I just realized that the whole vision of what we wanted for our wedding was getting screwed up because of these fashionista bridesmaids I have. The only thing Dave cares about that he will be wearing is this tie ...

and theres no way that would have worked with any of those dresses. So, I found this one online, but I can't really find it for sale in the girls sizes anywhere

Ugh, these girls are the only thing thats stressing me out right now.

Welcome Wake Me! Are you getting married at the RPRM? I think there have been a lot of people that have gotten married that time of year. Not sure about the wind situation, but you could always ask one of the vendors that are local what they know about the weather conditions that time of year.

Chloe-Yeah, I have a feeling they will either try to rebook or just feel really dumb when the hype all dies down.

I really like dress #1. #2 is pretty but yeah, it looks a bit too formal. What brand is the first one? I can try to help you find the sizes you are looking for online. I think the colors are really nice!

Kelly- Don't let your BM's stress you out! It's your wedding and they agreed to be in it...they should be willing to wear a dress that you love...not them. Of course you want them to be comfortable wearing the dress you choose, but don't let them take advantage of the flexibility you're giving them. I'm in three weddings this year and I pretty much had no say as to what dresses I'm wearing in them. I guess it all comes down to the fact that it's YOUR DAY...not theirs!

Gosh, your BM's just need to keep their mouth shut. I have worn horrible BM dresses before and I didn't say a peep b/c it wasn't my wedding! The nerve of some ppl.

That is so weird about msbettyb! Maybe she changed her mind about a DW. I hope she is okay!

Yeah, this is now the RPRM Brides/Dress Thread! haha

OMG Kelly that is so funny about your BM's because mine have said the same thing! I've had some of them tell which colors they do and do not want to wear! I didn't even know what to say, because I couldn't believe THEY were actually telling ME that! Maybe it will help not to focus it on it for a while...then maybe start looking again on your own to find what you like for them, without everyone else's input.

And I'm really starting to get nervous about MsBettyB! I hope everything is ok too!

When you get a PM a pop-up box notifies you...so if you do PM her she should know immediately the next time she's on.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
