My Husband an I got married May 14th, 2011 and we used Calypso, the on site photographers.   They were amazing.  We couldn't have asked for better pictures.  These are two of our favorites.  The pictures were all so good instead of only taking the 70 that were included in our package we bought the CD with all 280 pictures on it.

Absolutly stunning pics :-) We also used the onsite photog, we had Ric & Marc and they were absolutly outstanding, We loved them, also like you we loved ALL our pix so instead of the few 36 we had as a package, we also walked away with all our pix as there was no way we could choose!!! We got 147, so were very happy.

Congratulations on your wedding, you look beautiful, both of you & I love the colour in your flowers xx

Hi everyone!

It's been fantastic to see all that you have accomplished with your weddings at RPRM!  Congratulations!

Me and my FI have been engaged now for a year and we were originally thinking the RIU Palace in Aruba but I can never find as much information as I'd like on it.  The RPRM was actually our first choice but some family members were not happy with the choice of Mexico...however...we are not back at to our first choice and it is RPRM for sure!  Besides setting a date (we are shooting for fall of 2012 right now)...can anyone begin to list of the things I need to do?  It's not the BIG things that have me concerned it's all of the little things!

I've seen some ideas for OOT bags which have been wonderful, but what about ideas/thoughts/directions on all of the other things...brocheres, translation information, travel information for guests??? I thought that a destination wedding would be less stressful in some ways, but now I am starting to get nervous about the whole thing.

Any advice/help/etc...is sooo very much welcomed!

I am so happy to see you have gone back to choosing the RPRM... OMG you will most definatly in no way shape or form be disapointed.... I would say you have absolutly made the right choice...

Back back back in the day we looked at the Riu Palace in Aruba... but we found out you couldnt get married at the resort you had to go to the ceremont site of the hotel grounds, also we had always alwyas alwyas wanted to go to Mexico... and after so much research (probably the hardest part of wedding planning) we chose RPRM.... It was out of this world :-)

If you would like to see my pix then add me on FB Nicola Creely (Bates)

Also i have tons of stuff in emails i can send you email me at nicyx@hotmail.com i can forward it on... pix of wedding locations at the resort, cakes, flowers etc......

Nic x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
