For instance, if I have 40 people do I automatically have to have a private reception and pay per person? What is included, if any, for a reception? So many questions all of a sudden!

Well I had been talking to Ana Hernandez over email for awhile too. But then about a month ago (3 months before the wedding) whenever I emailed Ana, she would forward the emails to Nancy, and now Nancy is the one contacting me and that's who I talked to on the phone about details of the wedding last week. So, I'm not sure if Ana is still there or what, but I get the feeling Ana isn't real experienced and so Nancy just kind of took over. Although she is pretty flaky sometimes too! The email she responds to is MICE.plc@riu.com

 

Vletter, as for the private and semi-private reception, I also have 40 people exactly and she asked me whehter I wanted private or semi private and told me how much it is to make it private. I was actually going to go with semi until I found out I can't have my own music at all. But as far as I understand, I still could have had a semi-private with that many people. I could be wrong though. Just ask Nancy. And the funny thing is, she told me over the phone that the price for private dinner is $25 per person but then when I wrote to confirm things in an email she said $20. So I'm printing that out and handing it to her when we get there like Dana said! I had never heard $25 before.

I just got the email today to sort all the wedding stuff out, it's 4 weeks today til we get married...... for a start they spelt both our names wrong in the email! slightly worrying.... but at least she finally got in touch!

the lady that sent it is called patricia escalante, but i'm getting married at the riu tequila, so maybe they have a different wc to you all?

SCarp.... Yes most of my emails are from Ana but i also have 1 or 2 from Nancy so whether one does some things and the other does other things (if you know what i mean)??

Jo that is great you heard from them... maybe we do have different WC's? Check the name thing with them though as you dont want the spelling wrong on your marrage cert etc :-)

Stephens is on the right .... White Gold

 

We were going to go for both gold.... but Stephen prefers White Gold & because my E ring and Eternity ring are both gold, the White Gold just wouldnt go....

 

They are very simple bands, Simple because i have diamonds in both my rings and i tried on a diamond wedding ring but it just looked awful (i know a girl can never have enough diamonds... but.... Haha) and they are perfect for us :-)

 

I dont know if its odd us getting different colours but hey its what we want so...... :-)

 

Im so happy!! Another thing ticked of the list!!!

I cant believe its 4 weeks!!! ARGH!!!! time is just moving so so quickly!!!

I dont want it to go as fast as i dont want it to be over..... I wont know what to do with myself when we get back from Mexico as I have done nothing but wedding plan for the last few years.... !!!!
