 Hey Ladies,

I was wondering if any of you will be having a videographer? The RIU can provide one starting at 400$ and i'm wondering if i should just pony up the money and go for it. I mean its a lot of money but can you really put a price on memories? i dont know......

Also -- are any of you bringing outside photographers, if so what are you planning to do in terms of price for bringing them in. I heard that they are charging up to 200$ a person when i orgianlly asked they said it would only be 100$ each..

Thanks!!!

Lynn

Lynn- We aren't doing the videographer, I'm just not really into it and trying to save some dollars. We are using the photog from the resort though. As far as bringing one from off the resort it seems the best idea is to tell them you have a friend doing the wedding and then you don't get charged the vendor fee. I know alot of girls get the photog a room for the night and that can be cheaper then the vendor cost and that way they have a bracelet to get on the resort with no questions asked.

I just got back the pictures of my custom cake topper, it's too cute not to share....

Dana that's adorable. HAHA. I love it.

Dreaming of Sunshine - I am bringing an outside photographer down with us but he'll be staying at the resort in hopes that it won't cause any issues...it just seemed easier than having to deal with all the prices changing for outside guests/vendors. We're using Joshua Albanese. I actually found him through past bride KimmyG who found him through another past bride Chickadee024...his work is amazing! Can't wait!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
