Good Morning girls!!

 

I am a newbie and am quite stressed over picking a resort. My TA had recommended Azul Sensatori which is beautiful but I believe is pricey. So, I started looking at the Riu Palace. I believe it's a little less expensive and it's closer to Playa Del Carmen which I like.

 

I am going to start reading the threads but if anyone has any advice, good or bad, I'm ready for it.

Question, has anyone seen a review of a beach wedding at the Riu Palace? All I see, everyone has married at the gazebo.

 

I'm also looking into a boat reception instead of doing it at the resort. So, if anyone has any information on that, that would be fabulous.

 

And, one last thing, anyone have a price list for add-ons at the Riu Palace?

Nicola- that is soo exciting that your mom and dad booked. We have some friends and family booking this week to so I can share the excitement!

Yay, to all the new girls :)... I don't know much about other resorts, so can't give you any tips regarding them. All I know is that Rius are always amazing and the Riu Palace is suppose to be absolutely beautiful!! Oh and PS I know Jannae is having a beach wedding, so we will be seeing pictures and reading reviews soon :)

Has anyone on here had the private room for the reception with the DJ? How does that work? What kind of music doe he play? Was the reception at the later time?

Welcome back Jenna! I think Samira had a private room - I know she at least had the DJ! Her review was great - very thorough. If you do a search for it you'll probably get all the details you'll need!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
