Hi everyone! I am new here and just started reading this long long thread. Riu RM is my #1 resort. I am going for sites visit in first week of may. the other resorts that I am considering are Dreams Cancun RM, Paradisus, Aventura Palace, Xcaret park. I cross my fingers that Riu will be the one since I love photos of other weddings and reviews of it. Is anyone here getting married around November 26, 2010

Holly crap Sammysgirl that is so soon!! Are you ready to rock? Also, is that new pic from your shower/bachelorette party? LOVE the dress! And yes, I did read that review. Boo to her! RPRM is the best place to get married! I didn't think your words were harsh at all either.

Welcome Staicy, you have picked a great resort, have fun planning!!

 

That review that was written is terrible, some people have nothing better to do then to complain so just let it be (I love you ladies who stand up to her!!!) She should have taken into consideration the ladies getting married there. The resort was pretty full when I was there and I did not have any of those issues, we brought 61 people with us and not 1 of them had a single complaint. The rooms anywhere down south will get damp, leave your ac on, thats all I have to say about that.

J- the pic is from my bridal shower! Thanks! I am pretty much ready to rock and roll! I just need to get the wording down for the hand ceremony, sand ceremony and we need to write our vows. I also need to put pictures in the frame for the sand ceremony. I need to assemble my tip/key card holders. All very minor things! I'm sure there are some other minor details that I am leaving out, but I've been trying to get a lot done these past few weeks so I'm not super stressed as we get even closer.

 

Oh I still need to buy portable speakers for my ipod!

thanks LadyTrunck. Uploaded tones of bridesmaid dresses that I found. Not loving any of them. Ohh want to mention that "I think" ; ))) that i will do Grey-Yellow color schemes. love this combination, but found soo hard to find dresses for my girls. Any advice where else i can look?

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
