Samira~ you are very lucky girl with some good friends! :) Sounds like a blast!

So we have a date and location for our AHR! I feel like a lot of wedding plans have been placed on the back burner now though. We have my dress, bridesmaids dresses (well picked out, need to order them), AHR date and locoation, STD's sent out, looked at wedding bands and found ones we liked and a good idea what FI is going to wear.

Wonder how Katie's wedding went?? WHo's up next? I know KimmyG's is right around the corner

Congrats on the progress Jen!! Planning is so much fun- but when you get a lot of the main stuff done, there is a bit of a lull. I'm pretty much there right now. Just have to finish a few DIY projects (below is a pic of my 'getting ready' romper that I made this weekend- I'm also making shirts for my nieces!)

I know- I am dying to see how Katies wedding was! I know that she did a honeymoon directly after, so we probably won't hear from her for a little bit...

Who's wedding IS next? We need to compile a list or something! haha

Hi Everyone!

I can't believe how fast time goes by, it seems like yesterday i was on here trying to figure out where my wedding would be.

I'm having outside photographers Moments that Matter Photograph and when i asked Ael said it would be 100$ per person to bring them in the day of. I'm hoping that she will stick to this since i have a hard time thinking about paying 200$ each just for them to come...and i already booked/paid my deposit for them... sigh....

Anyways.. happy end of monday everyone!

- Lynn

Hmm... I will have to check out the poor review, was it a wedding review or just the resort?? I actually had a co-worker who says she has stayed at the Riu Yucaton several times and loved it.

Wow, Sammysgirl, you are coming right up! What day are you leaving for Mexico?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
