Just my two cents - Have you tried the South Beach Diet? It claims you can lose 8-14 lbs in the first 2 weeks - but it is a "change your eating habits for life" diet - which means if you cut all the carbs in the first 2 weeks and then start eating them again you will gain all the weight back anyways. Just something to think about - it really does work as long as you stick to it!

And how rude of your seamstress to say that to you! WTF!!!

imho, any diet that says you'll lose a certain amt of pounds in a certain amount of days without really changing your lifestyle is a diet that ensures you'll gain the weight back within a few days. that's why i love ww - it's a change of lifestyle, rather than a crash diet. i did the sacred heart diet to get over a plateau that i had reached at ww, and lost 5 lbs. i've kept most of it off b/c i have a relatively healthy lifestyle (relatively being the operative word). if i had gone back eating junk, i would have gained it back and then some.

btw, you need to bitch slap the seamstress. i like what harty said - tell him that you can lose a few but he'll always be ugly.

DO THE SCARSDALE DIET !!! I lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks, a pound a day for the first week ! GOOGLE it, its very easy to follow, mainly a low carb diet and no alcohol for first two weeks, but well worth it !! I'm now 8st 13 pounds, I've done every diet under the sun and this is the only thing that has worked for me, HAVE A GO !! ;-) Its actually a medical diet founded in the 70's by an american doctor.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
