We just sent out our invitations last night!!! cheer2.gif

It was quite the saga getting and ordering them. We went through about 2 weeks worth of proofs that sucked, our comments being ignored, etc. and unfortunately, now that we have them we know that there were still some mistakes, but we sent them out anyway.

I'm drafting a complaint letter now. frown.gif Oh well. At least they're out. We wanted to have them sent out in June.

The invitations are perfect. The problem is the RSVP cards and the font on the TY card. At least the date's right this time 'round... *sigh*

The RSVP: The other side is plain white with my address. It was supposed to be all in colour with the flower and then have the address on the side that I'm showing here... I think the trouble is that on the website when they show what a "double-sided" RSVP postcard looks like, they give an example from a different flower set. frown.gif but it comes across as false advertising. Oh well.

TY Cards (I hate the font and am planning on getting a refund as they do not match the proof that had a nice script font)

IMO, I think your invites look really good. The flower is really gorgeous and I think your guests will really enjoy receiving such a pretty invite in the mail.

ps I love the pic of your FI dropping them in the mail. The look on his face is priceless! Congrats on getting them sent out!

Thanks, girls :) I know people probably won't notice. It was just one of those smile35.gif how dumb can people be moments... LOL. I mean, we sent back about 10 proofs and it was like they never fixed anything but one problem at a time... oh well. I know I wouldn't be anywhere near as pissed if it hadn't cost as much as it did and taken as long as it did to get them.

I should have just made my own.

But I DO love the flowers :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
